When I created this little space my intention was never to daily blog, but to share stuff that I found online, add a little context under it, share stuff that I found interesting IRL and so on. It was never my intention to build an audience, I’ve never even shared any link with anyone. The focus here was really a bookmark with context, so I could check later if I wanted.
But then…
So my last post here was 2 years ago, and the total number of posts here is 5, 6 with this one. Obviously, since I spend like a major part of my time of my day online, I did found good stuff to publish, but my laziness got in the way.
2022 is almost done, seems like a good time to restart, a new year resolution let’s call it that way.
Resolutions:
- Try to write something here, at least once a week
- Get things clean
- Return to the “trying to getting fit” mindset
- Focus
- …
Try to write something here, at least once a week
I’ll try to get back here at least once a week, either for sharing stuff I found online, sharing a piece of mind, sharing the status of my work… Something. Not necessarily a diary of my week, but it might help me keeping track of what I do during the week.
Get things clean
This one is already under way. The things that needed cleaning were my space. My home working space, my home office. I sold my PC and built a new one (hey, here’s a post idea! So I’ll get back this on a new post), moved and cleaned my whiteboard and cleared my desk. This resolution in quite simple in principle: get and keep my space clean. In my mind, keeping my working space clean means I’ll get less distracted, getting less distracted equals more work done.
Return to the “trying to getting fit” mindset
During the pandemic and the lockdowns I managed to loss a good amount of weight. I was able to do intermittent fasting successfully and I started running again. Hurray! And then the pandemic “ended” and I regained all the weight back and stopped running. So, to keep it short: start the year and restart the fit program.
Focus
I mean, this is self explanatory. To achieve all the above, I need to focus. Focus focus focus!
I guess this it for now. The original draft of this post was 2 lines long, so I guess, I kinda have fun writing this!
